How to play

Press PLAY, pick a hunt and a difficulty (Easy, Normal or Hard), then START.
Desktop: drag to look (arrow keys work too) - your mouse is never captured unless you turn on Mouse look in Settings. Hold right-click to aim, left-click to fire, hold Shift for a steady aim, R ranges your target.
Phone: press and drag FIRE to look and aim - hold your thumb still on it and the scope comes up; a drag never shoots. Lift and tap FIRE to shoot. On walking hunts the left thumb circle walks. Tap an animal to range it.
Your rifle's safety comes off when you aim and goes back on when you lower it. Only shoot a legal animal standing broadside with safe ground behind it - passing on the wrong animal scores as much as a clean shot.
Walt, your mentor, talks you through it and grades you on safety, identification, shot placement, range, woodsmanship, recovery and ethics. Hunt with friends or bots online.
