How it works, stated plainly

Everyone here has passed our in-house ID and selfie check, read by a person. The men are free and write proper profiles; the women choose, and the pass they pay for keeps it that way: when anyone can message anyone for free, the inbox fills with volume and the good messages drown.

The flow

1. 01Join free and verifyA free account and an ID and selfie check read by a person. Once, for everything on BRO. Men need nothing more; women add the Singles Pass to see full profiles.
2. 02Write your profileFirst name, last initial, city, age (from your verified ID, never your birthday), faith if you want, what you are looking for, a few questions answered in your own words, and one to six photos, each checked before anyone sees it.
3. 03DiscoverWomen browse men, filtered on city, faith, what they are looking for and age, from 18 to 99 and over. No ranking, no algorithm deciding who you are allowed to see.
4. 04Send an introductionA written message, not a swipe. It is read by our safety check before he ever sees it.
5. 05He replies, or declinesNo reply inside 7 days and the introduction closes and is refunded.
6. 06Swap details when you are both readyAfter 4 messages each, either of you can press "Share contact details". Nothing is revealed until you both have. Then meet somewhere public.

Safety

BRO uses AI to vet members and to monitor every member-to-member message for scams, predatory behaviour and requests for personal details. Anyone who does this is blocked immediately, and flagged messages are reviewed by our staff.

• 18 and over, checked against a government ID by a person. Accounts marked under 18 are refused, server-side.
• Every message is checked by AI before it is delivered, and flagged messages are read by our staff.
• Anyone who asks for a phone number, email, address, social media or to talk or meet somewhere else, in any wording, is blocked at once and the person they wrote to is warned.
• When you both want to meet, use the "Share contact details" button (after at least four messages each). Nothing is revealed until you BOTH press it, and either of you can withdraw before the other does.
• Never put your contact details, address, workplace or photos in a message. The button is the only way to share them.
• Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going and when you will be back, and arrange your own transport.
• BRO will never ask you for money in a message, and nobody genuine here will either. Anyone who does is a scammer: report them.
• Report and Block are on every conversation. A person reads every report.
• City only. Never an exact location, never an address. Location data is stripped from every photo.
• Profiles are reviewed by a person before they appear. Every photo is checked before anyone sees it (anything uncertain goes to a person), and photos are never visible outside Singles.

Meet in public the first few times. Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back. Arrange your own transport. None of that is a comment on anybody — it is just what sensible people do.

Optional: record check

A record-check badge means the member chose to upload their own official criminal record check, and our team reviewed it and confirmed the name matches their verified ID. The document is the member's own, sharing it is their choice, and its contents are never shown. It is not a BRO background check and not a guarantee about anyone. You can upload one on the verify page; any review fee is paid by you, and you can hide the badge or withdraw the document at any time.
